The Primary Faculty members in the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience (CCN) are a diverse group of investigators defined by a shared interest in the cognitive functions of human brain, and by the location of their laboratory and office space in the Center itself in the Levine Sciences Research Building. The interests of the faculty include perception, attention, memory, emotion, language, decision making, executive functions, social interactions, cognitive development, computer modeling and computer simulation of cognitive processes. These individuals represent a variety of departments in both Arts and Sciences and the Medical School, and use techniques as varied as functional magnetic resonance imaging and human psychophysics. The Primary Faculty is augmented by a much larger number of CCN Affiliates, defined as faculty who share these interests and interact frequently with the Center, but are located elsewhere on campus.
